How to get involved....

There are many services for guests to do, giving practical experience of the satisfaction of devotional activities, and in most cases previous experience or qualifications aren't necessary to perform a service pleasing to Krishna and His devotees - come and get involved and taste the nectar of devotion...

Cleaning and maintenance of the temple building is ongoing, and essential to the running of the society, and devotees do a regular top-to-bottom clean-up and greatly appreciate any assistance. Maintenance work such as painting and repairs are also important areas for people with such skills.

Administrative work such as answering phones, dealing with enquiries, greeting guests, paperwork, database entry etc.

Each week a group of devotees form a Harinama party and take to the streets of Sydney, choosing different suburbs as recipients of Lord Caitanya's causeless mercy! Chanting, dancing, and distributing small books, flyers and sweets to the general public is a very rewarding experience spiritually - we ask anyone interested to contact us and join in.

Help in the kitchen is appreciated also - whether preparing vegetables or cleaning, your assistance to the Lord's service will never go in vain.

During the Sunday Feast program and at festival times help is especially appreciated in cleaning and sometimes decorating the temple, and in preparing the feast - get in touch to spend time helping arrange for the festivities.

Further afield, workers willing to help on our New Gokula Farm Community near Cessnock can really get into some physical farming work, with free meals also supplied.
