Nityananda Trayodasi 2006

This year's festival was well attended, falling conveniently on a Saturday night. The program consisted of Bhajans and Kirtans in the temple and a lecture on Nityananda's appearance. Some gifts were offered to the Lord then Sandhya-arati at 7pm together with kirtan preceeded the abhiseka bathing of Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai, organised nicely by Narada-Krishna Prabhu and helpers. Afterwards the feast, cooked by Toshan-Krisshna Prabhu, was served outside during the warm evening concluding another year of remembrance of Lord Nityananda - the eternally blissful avatar who descended with Lord Caitanya to deliver all fallen souls of this age simply by inducing the chanting of Hare Krishna!

Thanks to everyone who organised and attended the festival. Special thanks to our sponsors whose names will be published in the ISKCONnection newsletter in March.
