TEMPLE PROGRAMS

The temple itself holds various discourses and classes throughout the week. While some smaller-sized classes are held privately, the following sessions are held in the main Temple Room. Please note that the Scripture Study class is a serious study group and we require that you register for this course if you wish to attend.

SRIMAD BHAGAVATAM CLASS

Everyday 7:45am to 9:00am

Srimad Bhagavatam class focuses on systematic presentations from the Bhagavat Purana, also known as the Srimad Bhagavatam. These classes are formal, and they generally assume a considerable understanding of the Vedic wisdom.

SUNDAY FEAST CLASS

Sundays 5:30pm – 6:30pm

The Sunday Feast class follows 4-week themes. These lectures focus on certain concepts, pastimes or principles from the Vedic paradigm.

SCRIPTURE STUDY

Saturdays 10:00am – 11:30am

This class focuses on a an overview of the Bhakti Shastri texts, namely the Bhagavad Gita, the Nectar of Instruction & the Nectar of Devotion. This is a good prerequisite for the Bhakti Shastri course

REGIONAL PROGRAMS

We conduct various spiritual education programs operating at varying levels of intensity. These programs typically only have around 8 people per class. It is mandatory to register prior to attending.

ISKCON YOUTH FORUM

FREE Vegan/vegetarian meal included

For students aged 16-25, this set of learning groups offers a youth focused, relevant learning and application of the ancient Vedic wisdom.

The wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita is shared around Sydney in various suburbs in community centres, and we welcome you to join any of the following sessions. These sessions run for 4 weeks at a time, and you are welcome to attend any of them.

Introduction to Krishna Consciousness

If you are looking for a small group of up to 8 people with the intention of grasping the basics of the Bhagavad Gita and the Vedic Wisdom, this program is for you. Once you register, we will get in touch with you very shortly in order to finalise the time, date and place.

HOW TO APPLY THE BHAGAVAD GITA IN OUR DAILY LIVES

In this introductory course, learn how to apply the Bhagavad Gita in your daily life. This session offers classes on the Bhagavad Gita, music and dance classes, musical mantra meditation and kids activities.

VAMANA KSETRA HALL PROGRAM

The Vamana Ksetra community explores different aspects of Krishna Consciousness based on upcoming events and festivals according to the Vedic calendar. Spiritualists, travelling monks and many other practitioners routinely visit this program, and the community has the special priviledge to hear their perspectives. Musical mantra meditation, kids activities and a free vegetarian dinner!

KOGARAH HALL PROGRAM
