Lord Nityananda's birth in this world is called Nityananda Trayodasi and takes place in spring. Lord Nityananda always accompanies the Lord in all of His incarnations: as Lord Balarama - the beloved brother of Lord Krishna, and as Lakshmana - the younger brother of Lord Rama. Lord Nityananda is known for His compassion on even the most fallen of living entities and is known as the original spiritual guide for all seeking souls. Devotees fast till noon on this day, followed by a feast in His honour.

Here is an opportunity to sponsor a seva and be blessed by Lord Chaitanya. We invite everyone to attend this occasion and be part of the grand celebration:

SUNDAY FEAST

(Food for Life) provides free nutritious vegetarian meals to everyone. established by Srila Prabhupada in 1972, who stated that “No one within 10 miles of a centre should go hungry”, Hare Krishna ‘Food for Life’ provides relief to needy and suffering on a worldwide scale.

Our Sydney branch of Food for Life serves around 150,000 free meals every year. Free meals are distributed across more than 20 suburbs in Sydney. Going out during the evenings on every weekday, free hot meals are served at Redfern (opposite train station), to a great response from the public.

Sastra means scripture and dana means gift. The purpose with Sastra dana is to make it possible for anyone to participate in the distribution of Srila Prabhupada's books and other Vedic literatures through sponsoring. Our goal is to present the spiritual knowledge in these books to as many people as possible.

As per the Vedic tradition, for more than five decades we offer various paraphernalia for the worship of our beloved lordships Sri Sri Radha Gopinath on a daily basis. We request everyone to support our temple's Nitya Seva by donating generously. This will helps us to continue the service of their divine lordships Sri Sri Radha Gopinath.
